The Moonman Cometh

About the Book

The Moonman Cometh is a children’s Christmas fantasy unlike any other, vividly told with rich illustrations and an engaging narrative. This book depicts the story of a boy and his dog as they seek to save their dying Christmas tree farm. Just when all hope seems lost, the boy has a fateful encounter with a mysterious being who brings him a gift greater than he could ever have imagined. This captivating tale provides a thoughtful way for parents and children to celebrate the redemptive power of who Jesus is and what he came to do.

Praise

"Because children have fertile imaginations and think in story form, I think God’s love for them is demonstrated in the fact that he gave the gospel to us in story form. I have an affection for any story that is written or told that helps children understand the beauty, wonder, and necessity of the story of stories, the story of the person and work of Jesus. Moonman Cometh does this, with a tenderness and creative beauty, in a way that will capture the hearts and imaginations of children and get them to think about the best gift ever given - the gift of Jesus."

About the Author & Illustrator

Casey "C.S." Fritz grew up on a farm in Oregon, where he milked cows and had a pet pig. To escape the endless chores of cleaning chicken coops and watering tomatoes, Casey would draw. And now that's he's a grown man — well, he still draws. Casey, his wife, and his two kids live in Los Angeles, where Casey operates as one of the lead pastors at Collective Church.

Casey is the author of the Cottonmouth series (David C. Cook 2014, 2015) and Good Night Tales (NavPress, 2017).
